GTA 6 overlay ideas: which style fits your stream
Also in:Français
Your overlay is the first thing a new viewer sees. For GTA 6, the official artwork already sets a mood: neon, sunsets and palm trees. You do not need to copy it. You need a look that fits you, and that stays out of the way of the game. Here are three directions and the rules that apply to all of them.
Idea one: sunset lettering
The GTA VI logo style is a warm gradient on bold letters. It works best on a few words: your channel name, a scene title, a short tagline. Keep the rest of the overlay quiet, so the lettering is the only loud thing on screen.
The free GTA VI text generator writes your name in that mood. Type one or two lines, pick a style (Sunset, Neon, Classic or Miami), then set the size, outline and shadow. It exports a transparent PNG you can drop into OBS, Streamlabs, Photoshop or Canva. No account, nothing uploaded. The PNG carries a small, discreet NanoCrea mark.
Idea two: neon nights
If you stream late, a neon look matches the city at night. Thin glowing lines around the webcam, one accent colour, dark bars. The trap is glow everywhere: pick one or two elements and leave the gameplay clean.
Idea three: clean and minimal
A thin frame for the webcam, a slim info bar, nothing else. It ages well, it never fights with the game, and it reads on a phone. If you are not sure, start here and add colour later.
What every style must leave clear
The minimap sits bottom left and the weapon wheel in the centre. Whatever look you choose, keep those areas free. Put the webcam top right or bottom right, and keep text bars thin, so viewers never lose the radar.
- No big panel in the bottom left corner.
- Nothing in the middle of the screen.
- Text large enough to read on a phone.
Test the look before launch
Record one minute locally and watch it on your phone. If a word is hard to read, make it bigger or drop it. For animated overlays, use WebM: it keeps its transparency in OBS, while an MP4 shows a black box. The full setup, layer by layer, is in our guide to the GTA 6 overlay in OBS.
